It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 138 Squadron (For Freedom). Halifax aircraft LL 419 failed to return from night operations dropping supplies and agents. FS W.J. Jeffrey, F/Os J.P. Gallagher, H.J. Brennan, H. Barker, and T. Carnegie were also killed. Two of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
