158 Squadron (Strength In Unity). Halifax aircraft LW 635 lost whilst participating in a night raid against Trappes, France, Pilot Officer D.F. McCorkle, Sergeants R. Ward, S.W. Fox (RAF), M.J. Tremayne (RAF), and Flying Officer A. Browne (RAF) were also killed. One other member of the crew, not Canadian, missing believed killed.
