158 Squadron (Strength In Unity). Halifax III aircraft LK 875 NP-Q missing during a night attack against Trappes, France. Flying Officer J.K. Greenway, Pilot Officer W.A. Younie, and Sergeant T.J. Sheridan (RAF), Flight Sergeant V.N. Hansen (RAAF) and Sergeant T.J. Sheridan (RAF) were also killed, Sergeant D.R. Day (RAF) taken PoW and Sergeant D.G. Gettings (RAF) evaded. Addendum: - FS V.N. Hansen (RAAF) was also killed. FS Hansen was buried at Criquebeuf La Campagne, Eure. There were two others, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Detail provided by Joel Huard, Serquigny, France.
