The Lockheed Hudson was an American-built light bomber and coastal reconnaissance aircraft built initially for the Royal Air Force (RAF) shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War and primarily operated by the RAF thereafter. The Hudson served throughout the war, mainly with Coastal Command, but also in transport and training roles, as well as delivering agents into occupied France. They were also used extensively with the Royal Canadian Air Force's (RCAF) anti-submarine squadrons. National Air Force Museum of Canada.

Ferry Command (RAF Ferry Command)

RAF Ferry Command, the Royal Air Force command formed on 20 July 1941 by raising the RAF Atlantic Ferry Service (ATFERO) to command status, to ferry aircraft from North America to the front line; its base of operations was Dorval, near Montreal. On 25 March 1943 it was subsumed into the new Transport Command by being reduced to group status as No. 45 (Atlantic Ferry) Group (Wikipedia, RAF Ferry Command). Between ATFERO and No. 45 Group.
