57 Squadron (Corpus Non Animum Muto). Lancaster aircraft ED 778 was shot down near Netterden three and one half miles south-west of Gendringen, Holland. Pilot Officer H.C. MacNeil, FS M.G. Levins, Warrant Officer A.L. Home, and Sergeant T.J. Gregory (RAF) were also killed. One Canadian, FS Leach was either an Evader or was taken Prisoner of War and one of the crew, not Canadian, missing believed killed.
