"A" Able flying through the Eiffel Tower? (although this event likely happened, this photograph is likely fake.) It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. The caption reads "This Stars Stripes photograph was taken on 14 September 1944 and shows a Mosquito Mk XIII of 409 Squadron RCAF. Halluin Communal Cemetery, Halluin, Nord, France

Ryckman joined the RFC in late winter 1916. He was posted to 7 Squadron in France flying the BE2c, and was shot down in flames on a bombing mission on 1916-05-04. After suffering engine trouble he had dropped out of the attack. He and his observer (Lt. James Robert Dennistoun, British) were captured and made POWs, but both died soon after from burns and the injuries suffered in the crash.
