195 Squadron (Velocitate Fortis). Lancaster aircraft PB 112 lost near Dortmund, Germany, during a daylight operation to Witten, Germany. Flying Officer G.R. Barry and FS M. Goldwater were also killed. One Canadian, Sergeant J.A. Friedman, was taken Prisoner of War. Three of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
