614 County of Glamorgan Squadron (Coda I Geisio). Target - Sofia Marshalling Yards, Bulgaria. Halifax aircraft BB 382 crashed four miles north of San Nisand, Italy. Flying Officer D.L. Smith and one crew member, not Canadian, were also killed. One Canadian, Warrant Officer Murray, and two members of the crew, not Canadians, were injured.
