58 Squadron (Alis Nocturnis). Halifax aircraft DT 684 crashed in Dorset, England, cause obscure. Flying Officer G.R. Pringle, FS L.E. Gilpin, Flying Officer M.A. Legg (RNZAF), and four others of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed.

See page 618 The crew of Wellington aircraft R 1539 were returning from bombing operations over Frankfurt, Germany when they ran out of fuel. Sgt. Proctor and four RAF members of the crew, P/O. A.G. Stanes, Sgt.s A.H. Rex, E.G. Paul, and E.G. Lennon were all killed when the aircraft crashed at Holbeach, Lincolnshire. One member of the crew was injured.
