76 Squadron (Resolute). Halifax aircraft LK 921 did not return from a raid on Berlin, Germany, FS A.L. Gibson was also killed and five of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Eight months after he was killed his girlfriend, in York, had a baby, and ever since, she and Pilot Officer Parrott's sister have visited back and forth regularly. His sister told our researcher, Les Allison, that her parents were very happy to have a grandchild even if it happened in 1944 when events such as this were judged differently than in 1990.
