207 Squadron (Semper Paratus). The crew of a Lancaster aircraft took off on operations from RAF Station, Botsford, England and was not heard from again. Flying Officer D.J. Quinlan, Sergeants T. Douglas (RAF), R. Robson (RAF), and Pilot Officer A.J. Southwell (RAF) were also killed. One RAAF and one RAF member of the crew, missing presumed killed.
