626 Squadron (To Strike And Not To Yield). Lancaster aircraft LL 753 was shot down at Breuvery-sur-Coole, Marne, France during night ops. to MaiIly Le Camp, France. Pilot Officer J.M. Liebscher and Pilot Officer D.S. Jackson D.F.C. (RAF) were also killed. Four others of the crew, not Canadians, missing presumed killed. Addendum: P/O.s H.C. Riddle (RAF), R.H.
