Flight Sergeant Lowe was BROTHER to Flight Lieutenant Robert Henry Lowe (RCAF) who was killed in action 1943-01-30 aboard 426 Squadron (RCAF) Wellington aircraft Z 1680 OW-R, lost over the North Sea returning from an operation against targets in Hamburg, Germany. Flight Lieutenant Lowe has no known grave and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial
