15 Squadron (Aim Sure). Lancaster aircraft LM 465 lost to enemy action over Venlo, Holland during night operations to Gelsenkirchen, Germany. P/O. C.S. Thompson and FS. R. McMillan were also killed. Four of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
