50 Sqn (From Defence to Attack) RAF Skellingthorpe, Lancaster III aircraft ED 755 VN-Q lost on a night operation to Berlin, Germany. Flying Officer JM Lauder (RCAF) was killed. Flying Officer Lauder was initially buried at Neuruppin, Germany, near the crash site but was later exhumed and buried at the Berlin 1939-1945 War Cemetery.
