619 Squadron. Lancaster aircraft NE 151 was shot down at Heinsberg, Germany which is eighteen miles south-west of Monchen-Gladbach, Germany during a night operation against Wesseling, Germany. FS E. Kullberg and three crew members, not Canadians, were also killed. One of the crew, not Canadian, missing believed killed and one Canadian, FS S. Malick, was taken Prisoner of War.
