99 Squadron (Quisque Tenax). Two Liberator VI aircraft, KG 973 UX-O and EW 286 UX-H were in a mid-air collision off the southern Burmese coast in the Andaman Sea, near Tavoy Point, Burma. All 22 aircrew (11 per aircraft) were killed

Pilot Flying Officer GE Jones (RCAF) and crew, FS JR Milligan (RCAF), FS GE Tudor (RAFVR), Flying Officer RC O'Neill (RAAF), FS AH Brameld (RAFVR), FS JEJ Farrow (RAFVR), Pilot Officer EP Parcell (RNZAF), FS JF Grimshaw (RAFVR), FS H Pickup (RAFVR), Sergeant WJE Pugh (RAFVR) and FS SR Smith (RAFVR) were missing, presumed killed from KG 973 UX-O (www.rafb24.com)

They have no known graves and are all commemorated on the Singapore War Memorial
