76 Squadron (Resolute). Halifax aircraft DT 575 took off from Linton-on-Ouse, England for a trip over enemy territory and crashed one mile from Pierrepont Meuse on the France Belgium Border. FS F.O. Ross, Sergeants S.H.C. Brown (RAF), B.J. Clinging (RAF), F.C. Fidgeon (RAF), J. Strachan (RAF), and B.W. Wedderburn (RAF) were also killed. This was Sergeant Jonasson's third op.
