622 Squadron (Bellamus Noctu). Lancaster aircraft ED 619 was shot down at Baumbach, Germany during night operations against Nuremberg, Germany. This was Sergeant Jarvis' twelfth operation. Warrant Officer D. Laberge was also killed and five of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. This was one of 108 Allied aircraft lost this night. addendum 2: See page 359. Five RAF members of the crew, P/O.s J. Sutton, P. Newman, FS. J. A. McClean, Sgt.s L. B. Read, and J. F. Richardson were also killed.
