625 Squadron (We Avenge). Target - Stuttgart, Germany. The crew of Lancaster aircraft ND 637 were homeward bound when they collided with another aircraft. ND 637 burst into flames and crashed at West Waddington, Lincolnshire, England. P/O. J.P. Bulger, F/O. R.R. Jones, and four RAF members of the crew were also killed.
