77 Squadron (Esse Potius Quam Videri). Halifax aircraft LL 122 crashed at Levening, Yorkshire, England. Pilot Officer J.K. Forest and three RAF members of the crew were also killed. addendum 2: See page 315. The squadron was based at Elvington when aircraft LL 122-Y went down.
