77 Squadron (Esse Potius Quam Videri). Halifax aircraft DT 730 missing from a night trip to Leipzig, Germany. FSs C.R. Boyd (RAF), W.J.H. Webb (RAF), P/Os R.J. Caseley (RAF), J. Miller (RAF) and Sergeant F.E. Ryder (RAF) were also killed. One Canadian, FS K.E. Lees, was taken Prisoner of War.
