78 Squadron (Nemo Non Paratus). Halifax aircraft LV 957 was shot down one mile east of Bremen on the speedway at Fahr, Germany during night operations against Brunswick, Germany. P/O.s P. Gulevich, M. Sharp (RAF), Sgt.s D. Englefield (RAF), K.L. Cheeseman (RAF), H. Ogley (RAF), and J.G.F. Toll (RAF) were also killed.
