It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. Burley was killed in a flying accident at Camp Everman, Texas (Taliafero 2) on 1918-02-19. Accident occurred due to pilot error. 1597 Cpl W Miles was in the second seat as observer and was also killed.
