It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 626 Squadron (To Strike And Not To Yield). Lancaster aircraft ND 952 lost during a trip over enemy-held territory. Pilot Officer A. Orr (RAF), Sergeants S. Stone (RAF), and T. White (RAF) were also killed. Three others of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
