Churchyard Gambais, Île-de-France, France 15 Squadron (Aim Sure). Aircraft bombed successfully, but was shot down by a night fighter outbound from the target. It crashed at Boulay ESE of Houdan France. Six RAF members of the crew, Warrant Officer F.A. Easthope, Sergeants J.R. Fagg, F.H.J. Paul, FSs F.A. Hayward, L.H. Hood, and Flight Lieutenant W.E. Palmer were also killed.
