It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 630 Squadron (Nocturna Mors) Took off from East Kirkby at 21:15 to bomb the rail yards at Etampes, France. Outbound, after a long-running battle with a night fighter the Lancaster burst into flames and crashed at Omerville, France.
