It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. Ploudalmezeau Communal Cemetery, France Hampden Mk I AE225 PL-? On a daylight raid to attack German cruisers in the harbour at Brest France, the aircraft was hit by flak over the target which put one engine out of action. Unable to keep up with the squadron, it was shot down by a fighter.
