1918-03-31: Findley was OK in A.W. FK8, B-5783; when the engine overheated and three cylinders burnt out while on a contact patrol. His pilot, Capt George Irving Paterson, Canadian was also OK. 1918-04-02: Findley seriously injured in FK8, C-8524; on artillery recce. His pilot, Captain Paterson was killed.
