514 Squadron (Nil Obstare Potest). Lancaster aircraft DS 783 returned from operations heavily damaged by enemy fighter aircraft fire and flak. The aircraft made a safe landing at RAF Station, Waterbeach. Sergeant Wilton was the only casualty.
