12 Squadron (Leads The Field). Lancaster aircraft ED 195 went down in the sea off Holland during a night operation, an attack against Cologne, Germany, presumed enemy action. FSs K.B. Davidson and W.R. Berry (RAAF) were also killed. Please also see FS K.B. Davidson for other information. Addendum: FS.s Davidson and Berry were not members of this crew. The other members of this crew were all RAF; FS. M.B. Noble, Sgt.s F.D. Ayerst, F. Birkin; R. Boxall, E.F. Lawrence, and SiL. F.J. Knight were also killed.
