90 Squadron (Celer). Target - Wiesbaden, Germany. Two 90 Squadron Lancaster aircraft collided in mid-air and crashed, shortly after take-off, near Hengrave, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. Warrant Officer Train and seven of the crew, not Canadians, were all killed in aircraft HK 610; there were no casualties in the other aircraft.
