Watson, Wallace Mitchell, and Flight Lieutenant P.E. Rees (RAF) were also killed. Addendum: Wellington aircraft Z 1141 was shot down in flames while engaged on night operations, a bombing attack against the German U-Boat base at St. Nazaire, France. Sgt. B.W. Harris (RAF) was also killed.
