194 Squadron. The crew of Dakota aircraft FZ 600 were dropping supplies to the British 14th Army when they flew into heavy cloud and crashed into a mountain side at Kohima. Pilot Officer B.R. Christie, Warrant Officer G.W. Hansford, and one of the crew, not Canadian, were also killed.
