77 Squadron (Ease Potius Quam Videri). Whitley V aircraft Z 6950 was shot down over the target. FS J.M. Boyd, Sgt(s) H.R. Elliott (RAF), W. Partington (RAF), and H.E. Roberts (RAF) were also killed.
