207 Squadron (Semper Paratus). Lancaster aircraft ED 569 was shot down twelve miles from Wognunn. Sergeants W.W.R. Cook (RAF), J.T. Lloyd (RAF), A.W. Richardson (RAF), D. Scragg (RAF), V.H. Watkins (RAF), and Flying Officer F.E. Fielding (RAF) were also killed.
