It is signed by the late Bill Bryant RAF who was the navigator of that aircraft piloted by Bob Boorman RCAF. 83 Squadron (Strike To Defend), Pathfinder Force. Lancaster aircraft ED 974 missing from operations over Berlin, Germany. Six of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. Addendum: Five RAF members of the crew, FS.s C.F. Plumb, F.T. West, A.W. Coote, A.E. Mulard D.F.M., and Sgt. V.de.V. Vickers were also killed. One RAF member of the crew was taken Prisoner Of War.
