156 Squadron (We Light The Way), Pathfinder Force. Lancaster aircraft PA 984 crashed at Ancerville, France whilst engaged in a night trip to Revigny, France. F/Os H. Coker (RAF), F. Holbrook, D.F.C. (RAF), F.J. Lockwood D.F.C. (RAF), and Flight Lieutenant H.G.M. Robinson D.F.C. (RAAF) were also killed. Two of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
