142 Squadron (Determination). Wellington aircraft was shot down sixteen miles northwest of Hamburg at Uetersen, Germany. Pilot Officer W.S. Findlay was also killed. Two Canadians, Flying Officer J.A. Goring and Squadron Leader Olsson were taken Prisoners of War. One RAF member at the crew missing believed killed.
