Havelock (RAF) were also killed. One Canadian, Sergeant D.M. Godard, was taken Prisoner of War. Flight Sergeant Ozment had been slightly injured on March 5, 1941 in a flying accident near Juniata, Saskatchewan while training at 4 SFTS, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
