514 Squadron (Nil Obstare Potest). Target - Wiesbaden, Germany. Lancaster aircraft NN 772 was homeward bound when it was shot down in flames by anti-aircraft fire and crashed near Bad Schwalbach at Springen, Germany. Four members of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed. Two members of the crew, not Canadians, were taken Prisoners of War.
