61 Squadron (Per Puram Tunantes). Lancaster aircraft DV 304 missing from a night trip to Revigny, France. Seven RAF members of the crew, FS J.H. Blane, F/Os H.W. Cooper, G.A. Davey, B.S. Little, J.B. Thompson, Sergeants T.E. Hardy, and K.F. Merrifield were also killed. There were two pilots on board for this operation.
