77 Squadron (Esse Potius Quam Videri). Whitley V aircraft (Z 9150) failed to return from bombing operations. Sgt(s) J.C. Hiltz, A.H.K. Pedley (RAF), and Pilot Officer E.G. Smith (RAF) were also killed. Addendum: The squadron was based at Leeming when Whitley aircraft Z 9150 was lost during operations against Stettin. Sgt. R.W.
