78 Squadron (Nemo Non Paratus). Target - Gelsenkirchen, Germany. HO. MacGregor was killed when his Halifax aircraft MZ 310 and another Halifax collided in the air and disintegrated, in daylight, over South Goeree, Holland. Ten other airmen, not Canadians, were also killed.
