49 Squadron (Cave Canem). The pilot of Lancaster aircraft JB 235 undershot while landing in a dense ground fog and crashed near the Fiskerton aerodrome one mile east of Barlings House, Lincoln, England. Four of the crew, not Canadians, were also killed. addendum 2: See page 435. Lancaster aircraft R 5746 (VN-Q) lost during operations over Le Havre, France. NO. D. Gray (RAAF), Sgtas J. Bogard (RAF), T.W.S. Addison (RAAF), W.P. Taylor (RAF), G.B. McCloy (RAAF), and A.A. Waldie (RAF) were also killed.
