156 Squadron (We Light The Way), Pathfinder Force. Wellington aircraft went down near Thildonk during operations over enemy-held territory. FS. F.V. Harker (RAF) was also killed. One Canadian, FS. Morrison was an Evader and one Canadian, Sgt. J.B. Weaver, was taken Prisoner Of War. One RAF member of the crew missing believed killed.
