51 Squadron (Swift And Sure). Halifax aircraft DT 568 was lost over Holland during a trip to Bochum, Germany. Flying Officer E.R. Midgley (RAF), Sergeants A. Roberts (RAF), A.W. Stevens (RAF), and S. Wood (RAF) were also killed. Two others of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed.
