75 New Zealand Squadron (Ake Ake Kia Kaha). Wellington aircraft DF 673 was shot down two and one half miles south-west of Hazenbrouch, France. FSs D.A. McKay and H.D. Baiftle were also killed. Two RAF members of the crew missing believed killed.
