207 Squadron (Semper Paratus). The crew of Lancaster aircraft ED 554 took off from RAF Station, Langard and were never heard from again. Six RAF members of the crew, Sergeants R.E. Dampier, R. Bishop, D.E. Whitaker, W.L. Whitehouse, FSs A.R. Lewis, and C.W. Kleynhans were also killed.
