7 Squadron (Per Diem Per Noctum), Pathfinder Force. Stirling aircraft W 7630 presumed lost over enemy territory, presumed enemy action. One Canadian, Pilot Officer P.G. Freberg escaped capture, returned to operations and was killed on April 11, 1943. Five of the crew, not Canadians, missing believed killed. addendum 2: See page 239. Five RAF members of the crew, F/L, L.R. Barr, D.F.C. & Bar, Sgt.s P.B.P. Price, M.S. Pepper D.F.M., J. Greenwood, and P/O. E.R.M. Runnaeles were also killed.
